Our story

Our homesteading journey began in 2014 while living in a small suburban home. We were blessed with fruit trees in our backyard, where we learned to preserve the harvest through cider pressing and making preserves. We started a small vegetable garden with tomatoes, cucumbers, and our first herb garden, complete with an herb spiral. Our next home offered more space, so we quickly dove even further into homesteading, learning valuable lessons along the way. We expanded our garden, grew a larger herb garden, and added chickens, rabbits, and bees.In late 2024, we found our forever home on a 7-acre wooded property in Mount Pleasant. While the land offers plenty of space, the flat, open areas are limited, so we’re applying creativity and permaculture principles to design our homestead. We’re excited to begin the next chapter of our journey and start setting up our new homestead!

Happy Chickens

Our flock is fed organically grown (non-GMO), soy free & corn free feed. They enjoy regular supervised free ranging time and get yummy kitchen scraps often.

Our Garden

We practice a no-till gardening method, utilizing a combination of back to eden gardening and permaculture principles. We do not use chemicals of any kind on our property. Visit the link below to learn why you should avoid chemicals on your garden and lawn.

Cute Goats

Our goats enjoy frolicking around and playing with each other. We take them on walks with us on the trails so they can enjoy foraging for snacks. We feed our goats chemical-free hay and organic grains.

Shop Small

We are not meant to be an island! We depend on our friends and neighbors near and far for goods that we don't raise or make at our homestead. We enjoy supporting other families and small businesses who have similar beliefs and values.

Keep in Touch

We send out regular emails with updates on what's new on the homestead and what's in stock in the shop.

We keep your info private and promise not to sell it or spam you.
